He believes we are all constant seekers— seeker of happiness, seeker of success or seeker of peace. We tend to perceive these things as a destination but little do we know we reflect on things the other way around. Focus on the process because journey matters more than destination. Life is not about the time we live but the values we lived for. Values are something that emphasize the pinnacle of a person. We are so engrossed in the glamour that we are unable to notice the base on which the building of success stands. Perception plays a huge role on our attitude as well as aptitude.

In today’s growing materialistic world, people usually tend to overlook values. Is materialism the answer to all your anxiety? Lets closely analyze the life of a person we all look up to— a billionaire, an athlete or even a monk. An athlete will play his game with the same grit and determination on the day of his retirement as his first day. Money and fame didn’t change his approach towards the values he played the game for. If you ask a billionaire: did you aim for this amount of dollars — he would simply say no. All I am doing is out of my love for my work irrespective of failure and success. Results are something that depict your love for the process and journey. In order to reach the apex, you can’t overlook the importance of pebble or steep in your way. Remember the theory of juxtaposition — day is valued because of darkness and success is valued because of failure.

The utmost thing here is to simply work on your values with the right intention and success or happiness would come as a by product.
