Rohit's story commenced in 2018 when he graduated from high school with exceptional academic achievements, fueled by an unwavering desire to become a programmer. Although he contemplated dropping a year to learn programming skills, his parents, concerned about his decision, encouraged him to join the merchant navy, a path he initially resisted.
Fate, however, had other plans for Rohit. Despite intentionally attempting to fail the entrance exam, he found himself embarking on a new adventure in the merchant navy. While land training at the esteemed Shipping Corporation of India in Powai, Mumbai, Rohit's determination to pursue his programming dreams led him to self-teach and acquire valuable skills in programming and copywriting.
Although his performance in the merchant navy field suffered due to divided focus, Rohit remained undeterred. After completing one year of training, he returned home, ready to leverage his newfound skills and earn money online.
Seeking guidance and mentorship, he connected with industry experts such as Durvesh Yadav, an Amazon Best Selling Author and Press Release Expert., He referred to him as "Bhaiya" (brother) and worked under his guidance. He also had the opportunity to work with Bhupendra Singh Rathore, Suresh Mansharamani, and Uma Mansharamani, under whose tutelage he honed his craft and embarked on an extraordinary trajectory.
After enduring delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Rohit finally secured his first ship, which marked a significant milestone in his career. However, the challenges persisted, as limited internet access aboard the ship made financial sustainability a struggle. With a meagre income of Rs 10,000 and hefty education loan EMIs to manage, Rohit contemplated leaving the merchant navy industry prematurely.
In his darkest moments, a friend and confidant, Ashish Dhaka, provided the guidance and support needed to persevere. With Ashish's encouragement and belief in his potential, Rohit overcame the obstacles and continued to work diligently on board, utilizing the limited internet access to maintain his online ventures.
Driven by an unwavering determination to make a mark in the merchant navy industry and demonstrate that even with limited resources, success is attainable, Rohit embarked on a new venture: Navigator Digiverse. This budding enterprise aims to inspire and empower others by showcasing the possibilities of working and earning online, even with constrained resources like shipboard internet access.
