India International Science Festival:- Piyush Sagar of Beat of Life Entertainment awarded 3rd prize in the Video Competition
Recently, Piyush Sagar, the founder Beat of Life Entertainment (BOLE), a well-known Digital production company, was honoured and felicitated with the Third Prize in the Video Competition held at the mega India International Science Festival which was organised in Madhya Pradesh (MP). The four-day festival was organised at a grand level from January 21th-24th at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) in the state capital, Bhopal. Organised jointly by various Government of India Ministries which included the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Space and Vigyan Bharati, the India International Science Festival was inaugurated by Shivaraj Singh Chauhan (Chief Minister Madhya Pradesh) in the august presence of Jitendra Singh (Union Science and Technology Minister) and Om Prakash Saklecha (State Science and Technology Minister).
The India International Science Festival witnessed 15 mega events simultaneously among which the Vigyanika-Vigyan Sahitya Mahotsav was also organised. Additionally, Dr. Santosh Choubey (Poet and Chancellor of Rabindranath Tagore University) along with Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism University – KG Suresh, Associate Professor of Jawaharlal Nehru University Dr. B.S. Balaji, Scientist C M Nautiyal, Dr Hasan Javed Khan, Senior Scientist, CSIR New Delhi and Manish Mohan Gore (Editor of Vigyan Pragati) were several dignitaries who attended the Vigyanika-Vigyan Sahitya Mahotsav.
Numerous distinguished guests were a part of the India International Science Festival which was organised to promote science and spread awareness about science through multilingual scientific literature, science poetry, science drama and folk art. The grand festival also aimed to recognise, appreciate and honour the concerted efforts of people who have significantly contributed in various streams of Science. Esteemed guests who attended the forum included representatives, eminent scientists and officials from S&T organisations and private institutions.
This year, it was the 8th Edition of the grand India International Science Festival where National Short Play Video Competition under the Vigyanika-Vigyan Sahitya Mahotsav was also organised and the theme of this competition was Inspiring Indian Scientist: A Story to Remember. Piyush Sagar, the Founder and CEO of Beat of Life Entertainment, a Giridih based- production company, bagged the third prize for his voice-documentary film based on the autobiography of Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose. The short film highlighted the life, struggles and successes of the iconic figure of India. The movie also depicted and showcased the life of Sir JC Bose in Giridih in which he spent the last few years of his life. Giridih which was a part of erstwhile Bengal Presidency (Now In Jharkhand) has been shown in a great depth in the movie due to Sir JC Bose spending crucial time in the town and also because of the fact that he took his last breath in the City.
An elated Piyush Sagar, the Founder of Beat of Life Entertainment (BOLE), after receiving the third prize at the National Short Play Video Competition, stated, “It is indeed a happy occasion not just for me but for the entire team of Beat of Life Entertainment. The closing ceremony of Vigyanika-Vigyan Sahitya Mahotsav, which was held during the India International Science Festival was held on January 23, 2023, where the chief guests and scientists kept their views and the award winners were announced.
