Raghav Chadha campaigns for AAP candidate Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra in Amargarh
Amargarh (Malerkotla)/Chandigarh, February 14, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi and AAP Punjab affairs co-in-charge Raghav Chadha addressing a public meeting in Amargarh in favour of party candidate Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra claimed, "We are good people, we will do good job. We are honest, will stay honest.” Chadha appealed to the people to come together to teach a lesson to those corrupt politicians who have looted Punjab.
Addressing the Jan Sabha in favour of AAP candidate Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra at Amargarh on Monday, Raghav Chadha slammed Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and questioned his claim that Chief Minister Channi was poor. Chadha said the state Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi claims to be a poor man but his relative Bhupinder Singh Honey was raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Rs. 10 crore in cash and Rs 54 crore bank entries, a watch worth Rs. 16 lakh, a luxury car and property worth crores of rupees ware seized. He asked Channi where all this wealth came from.
Raghav Chadha claimed that Honey had admitted to the ED that he had collected Rs. 325 crore during Channi's 111-day tenure. So, they amassed at the rate of Rs. 3 crore per day. Even Badals can match this strike rate. He said that Chief Minister Channi used to say that he was an auto driver, tent wala and cycle mechanic. But no auto driver has crores of rupees. No tent owner has a luxury car. No cycle mechanic has assets worth crores.
Chadha appealed to the people that the Aam Aadmi Party and its leaders are honest and will remain honest even when the government is formed. Therefore, the people should press the button of ‘Jharoo’ to make the Aam Aadmi Party's Gurdev Singh Mann victorious. On the occasion candidate Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra thanked Raghav Chadha and other party leaders for campaigning in his favour.
