Avtaar: My time at IIM Kozhikode has had a profound impact on my approach to music. The analytical skills I gained help me navigate the business side of the industry, from marketing to audience engagement. While creativity is essential, understanding the industry's dynamics allows me to connect better with my audience.

Journalist: Balancing a music career and the skills you developed in business must be challenging. How do you manage your time?

Avtaar: It’s definitely a juggling act! Music is my passion, so I prioritize it in my daily schedule. I make sure to dedicate time for songwriting and practice, which helps me stay focused and inspired. When I’m in the studio or performing live, it feels incredibly rewarding.

Journalist: Speaking of live performances, how do they compare to your studio recordings?

Avtaar: There’s nothing quite like the energy of a live audience! Performing allows me to connect with fans in a way that studio recordings can’t replicate. Each show is a unique experience, and witnessing people connect with my music in real time is what drives me to keep creating. The energy from the audience is exhilarating
