Bharat Gaurav Train - Punya Kshetra Yatra has just completed their Puri circuit in grand style. The 700 pilgrims boarded from Secunderabad in Telangana and travelled to Malatipatpur (Puri) as their first destination. The passengers are then transported to various hotels in Puri for a one-night stay (which include buffet lunch, buffet dinner and buffet breakfast for next day). On the first day, after lunch, devotees went to Puri Jagannath Temple at their leisure and paid their respects to Lord Jagannath, wishing for happiness and prosperity.
They were taken to Konark Sun Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, after breakfast on the second day. After touring the sun temple, travellers were driven back to Malatipatpur (Puri), where they had lunch before the train left at precisely 3:30 p.m. The well-known Kolkata food and travel blogger Rajdeep Bhattacharjee was there and was quite appreciative of the efforts made by the IRCTC representatives on board the train. The Bharat Gaurav Train would travel through Puri, Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya, and Prayagraj before making its way back to Secunderabad on March 26, 2023.
