Roshani Shenazz: A shining star in India’s Spiritual Healing, Happiness and Wellness Sector

Roshani Shenazz has the same story but with a divine twist. A social butterfly at the peak of her Film and Media Career was turned around with a radical change that made her travel from the glitzy world of Glamour to the peace and calmness of the Kingdom of God. She passed through darkest of the valleys but finally navigated her way with sheer determination, grit, perseverance and above all deep conviction in her Faith in the Higher Power.

 Due to a life-death illnessat one stage of her life, Roshani was temporarily immobilized in 2005-2006 waist downwards.One and half years of her life were wiped out fighting for life, where she became a medical guinea and was burdened under an insurmountable amount close to Rs. One Crore in medical and survival debts. The path seemed unsure and dimly lit. She even had to sell her most precious dream home to compensate for her medical expenses and the inability to pay the monthly home loan due to being bed-bound with no work.

 Having an 85-year-old father to look after, Roshani didn’t have anything that seemed to be in her favour besides the Grace of God that held her through the entire period. But she didn’t lose hope. Her willpower and fortitude never faded away. To sleep with defeat was not her character. She chose to stand up again. She had always believed in the power of the Almighty.

It was in 2010 that Roshani’s life took a turn when Roshani started her awakening journey towards spirituality. She was experiencing things that she had never known. She started getting guidance and messages for people including herself, that manifested exactly as was told to her during her meditative time. All the experiences further deepenedafter she borrowed an Angel book from a friend which eventually led her to do a brief course as an Angel Practitioner. She started believing in the deeper importance and the existence of the presence and intervention of Guardian Angels, Archangels and Divine Beings, as Messengers and Divine Task Forces of God. She was guided and convinced that they are deployed to look after the happenings of Humanity, the Planet, all of Creation and the Universe.

 Thereafter her affinity and faith towards spirituality increased and there came a point where her life script was being re-written into a divine blockbuster. From the passion and desire to be a filmmaker, Roshani Shenazz was being pushed by the Universe to realise her true-life purpose of moving from Glamour to God. Her work took shape in helping humanity to recognize the divinity within themselves and that of others by healing their lives for the highest benefit of self and collective humanity.

 This was the turning point in her life as she decided to leave her dream career in the Indian film and media industry where she worked with India’s top production houses and channels for over 20 years. She even worked as a Sr. Faculty Producing at the prestigious Whistling Woods International – the world-renowned Film and Media Institute in Mumbai.

 Now she got herself immersed in the devotion of her beloved God and in 2010, she embraced the divinity of Avatar Meher Baba, whom she had come in contact with at a Spiritual level, since He had already left His physical body way back in January 1969. Thereafter her new journey began as she got herself engrossed in being the instrument and vehicle to spread the love, light and grace of Meher Baba through her divine work of Soul Guidance and Healing.

 In 2012 the last living Mandali of Meher Baba, Shri Bhau Kalchuri, renamed her as Roshani which means Light and told her that she would be the Mother Light to spread the Love and Light of Beloved Baba. She carried the name and decided to live a life according to her name by shedding God’s Love and Light and awakening the lives of others.

 In 2013 she completely gave up her passion and left the film industry work to pursue her Spiritual Calling and serve humanity through her God-given gifts. She also authored the best-seller book 'Angels Speak' in 2016, which is the first Indian Oracle book of channelled healing messages and affirmations with 15 Archangels illustrations. People took her book with great devotion as they experienced divine guidance and healing through it. Many even reached out to share with her that ‘Angels Speak’ is not a mere self-help book and gave it a place next to their devotional books.

 She went on toestablishWHOLEistic Wellbeing Pvt Ltd and Meher Roshani Foundation a registered 80G and CSR compliant Trust. Her Foundation has done commendable work in the last 11 years, especially through COVID and now has two key projects on education and vocational training that take centre stage. Meher Baba Children’s Centre in Meherabad, a holistic centre of education, medicine and nutrition for about 120 village kids and the Life Skills Academy, in Mumbai, to train people on different vocational life skills and impact their lives positively by enabling them to lead sustainable and financially independent lives.

 Roshani didn’t stop here. She went on to have more feathers of achievement for her crown. She became the esteemed Accredited Holistic Therapist and Training Provider by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine, U.K. She was a columnist for Bombay Times for Angel Guidance for the Readers, and a Guest Spiritual Medium for Radio shows in Dubai and on Radio One in India among many other international accolades.

 She is honoured with prestigious appointments like being – the Member of the Sexual Harassment at the Workplace Committee of CGHS Mumbai, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare – Govt of India, Advisory Board Sanghakaya, (Intl Buddhist) Foundation Co-Founder WIHUM (World Interfaith Harmony & Peace Mission), Golden Door Ambassador and Executive Committee Member, Co-Chair Holden Foor Forum, Singapore, Resident Expert at Expert Channel TV, and Mentee Alumni of the Cherie Blaire Foundation U.K. besides many others.

Later she became the Director of the Unity in Diversity World Civil Society, India Chapter of the Global Dialogue Foundation, Australia. Her contribution is phenomenal in conceptualizing the GDF Youth Ambassador Internship Program which involves students from five renowned colleges of HSNC Board, Mumbai, India, along with the esteemed leadership team of Global Mentors of GDF.

 For her phenomenal work as a Spiritual Soul-Doctor, Happiness, and Wellbeing coach, REIKI master, internationally awarded author, Speaker, and a Young Sociopreneur Humanitarian, she has been conferred with many prestigious awards. These Awards include the UN iCONGO, REX Karmaveer Puraskar Jyoti 2019 award, The Women Leaders of Tomorrow, Women Achiever – 2016-17, Leadership Excellence at the World HRD & CSR Awards, the Golden Door Essay/Blog Award (Shared – Silver), and Golden Door REX Karmaveer Truth-writer Fellowship & Chakra Award (Bronze), in September 2020, the MentorX Dr, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Award of Honor at the Educator’s Commendation Ceremony, 2020, 99 Achievers of India Award 2021, 30 Shining Stars of the World 2022, Top 50 Happiness Leaders at World HRD & Happiness Congress, BW Top 20 Influential Women Leaders in Wellness Sector and many more.

 She has not stood behind in carving her name at an international level and many felicitations came in search of her. She has been the youngest international speaker on various platforms, including the prestigious UN at the XIVth CIFA in France, in 2016, the World Parliament of Spirituality, the UN REX Karmaveer Platform, Golden Door Awards, Singapore, Hit Talks – London, and the Vatican/UN Webinar based on the Pope’s latest encyclical, in March 2020 among many others.
