SANGEETA SANGHVI: vocalist, band, live performer!

She comes from The City of Art and Culture, Kolkata! Originally, her family comes from the deserts of native Rajasthan, from the folk colourful town of Bikaner.

Sangeeta started her musical journey by giving public shows at the very young age of seven!
Classically trained by Benaras Gharana’s Tabla exponent, the late Pandit SohanLal Ji Mishra, Sangeeta firmly believes in the importance of Indian Classical Music in her life.

Exploring various forms of Indian Classical Music learning, Sangeeta has also successfully completed a short classical training at Oscar-winning music maestro A. R. Rahman’s Academy, Chennai.

With her melodious voice, she performs an average of 100 shows per year! A remarkable feat for a female in the singing world all on her own!

Sangeeta has a musical command of different languages like Rajasthani, Gujarati, Punjabi, with a touch of Bengali and even English songs.

Sangeeta Sanghvi has become a household name, performing for National Channels like Sanskar, Aastha, Bhakti Sagar, etc.

Her Musical journey has crossed the Indian borders, and she has performed innumerable shows globally in Kuala Lumpur, Kathmandu, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Singapore, Nairobi, Abu Dhabi, London, etc.

Sangeeta has proudly shared the stage with artists like Govinda, Urmila Matondkar, Sonu Nigam, Shahrukh Khan, Udit Narayan, Aditya Narayan, Nitin Mukesh, Aman Verma, Mohd Aziz, Zubin Garg, Babul Supriyo, and many more.

As a true Indian, she also performed numerous patriotic shows, the most memorable one being for the Jodhpur containment Army with 10,000 Indian soldiers as her esteemed audience!

It was a proud moment for her to perform for Rajasthan's former Chief Minister, Ms. Vasundhara Raje, former President of India, Ms. Pratibha Patil, former WB Governor and now Vice President of India, Sri Jagdeep Dhankad, With her growing talent and fan following, Sangeeta Sanghvi has emerged as an extremely popular vocal artist on various social media platforms, with a list of a whopping 7.5k followers.

A failed first marriage in a conservative middle-class Rajasthan family with the responsibility of two small kids and being a single parent with no financial support simply could not derail Sangeeta from her ambition and passion in her musical journey..

She continues to go stronger with each performance with hard work, dedication, and an ever-growing passion for music!
