Tata Motors Jamshedpur Sets A World Record.

On Tuesday 3rd March 2022, Tata Motors Limited Jamshedpur celebrated its 183rd  founder's day to mark the birth anniversary of the Founder of Tata Group -  Jamsetji  Nusserwanji Tata. On this occasion they have set a World Record for the most Number of Potted flowers used to decorate a solitary scene. They have established a Standard by decorating a single venue inside the company premises spanning approximately 800 meters and width varying between 4 to 12 meters utilizing 1 lakh 50,000 real flower pots which included salvia-vista, silver dust, ornamental cabbage, inca-yellow, red, orange, FMG, Begonia, Petunia, Impatiens etc. This Record has been approved by India's World Records and it has been proclaimed as an official world record.

The head of the flora horticulture Society, Tata Motors Ltd., Jamshedpur, Mr. Priyojyoti Mukherjee (M.phil Horticulture) under who’s guidance the planning, designing and execution was done said that they had started their preparation for this year’s floral decoration since September which involved 190 people and started decorating from 5th February onwards. The record certificate has been presented to the senior authorities of Tata motors. Mr. Sharad Singh - General Manager, Technical services, Mr. Deepak Kumar, General Manager CCE, Mr. Mustafezur Mallick, D.G.M. Legal and Mr. Priyajyoti Mukherjee - Head Horticulture were present during the award presentation which was presented by India’s World Records team.
