GrassDew IT Solutions Pvt Ltd is founded in January 2016 by Shekhar Ashok Pawar, working primarily in Cybersecurity Services, Customized Software Development, and Teleservices. Earlier, Shekhar was a Manager in Capgemini, a French multinational information technology services and consulting company.  He always feels proud about the past international exposure he gained in the areas like team leadership, the latest programming technology, cybersecurity, processes, and audit. Also, the executive management program from SJMSOM, IIT-Bombay has helped him to develop an entrepreneurship mindset. He is an Electronics & Telecommunication Engineer. He decided to start GrassDew IT Solutions from scratch. His courageous decision was supported by his spouse and parents. Also, his core teammates helped a lot throughout the entrepreneurship journey.

Shekhar has many certifications in cybersecurity, programming, and audits. He is a certified blockchain developer and Microsoft Certified Professional. He is a Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He is also ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor. He is a Certified PCI DSS V3.2.1 Implementer. He has also successfully completed the "Diploma in Cyber Law" course conducted by Government Law College, Mumbai, and Asian School of Cyber Laws. Shekhar is also working with EC-Council, USA as item writing for C|EH and CHFI examinations. He was CMMi Level 5 Assessment Team Member (ATM) for Capgemini India in the year 2015.

“Being in the knowledge business, I spend hours each day for un-learning, learning and re-learning technical things. If you are a woodcutter, you need to sharpen your axe, to be successful in your career. Our business or any such business is not apart,” Shekhar says.

Cybersecurity Research Contribution for SME Segment:

Utilizing the diverse international experience of cybersecurity audits, telecom knowledge, and programming skills, Shekhar is currently pursuing his research doctorate from the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM), Geneva, Switzerland on the topic which will contribute to the improvement of the Cybersecurity posture of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He has the plan to launch a new cybersecurity framework for SMEs which are the biggest contributors to the global economy and provide maximum employment.
