How do you define the entire notion of Independence in context of modern India ?
India is considered the mother of all the cultures of the world. Be it the art of living, science or the field of politics, Indian culture has always had a special place. The cultures of other countries have been getting destroyed along with the stream of time, but the culture and civilization of India has remained immortal with its traditional existence since ancient times. Harmony of spirituality and materiality, unity in diversity, receptivity and antiquity are the four pillars of strength and pride for our country .This award is a meritorious reflection of the exponential growth mindset that all Indians adorn as a jewl within themselves first . India's history and culture is dynamic and goes back to the beginning of human civilization. It begins with the mystical culture of the Indus Valley and goes to the farming community in the southern regions of India. In the history of India, there has been a continuous integration of people from many cultures located around India. Independence reflects
That there is all-round freedom, that is, for the individual as well as for the society; freedom for the rich as well as for the poor; freedom for men as well as for women; Freedom for all individuals and all classes. This freedom implies not only freedom from political bondage but also equality, distribution of wealth, abolition of caste barriers and social inequalities and destruction of communalism and religious intolerance. The belief in the co-equal connotation of freeing the society from the political, economic and social oppression is the nedd of the hour . When all the shackles are removed, we can proceed to build a new society based on eradication of poverty, unemployment, unequal opportunity, racism, malnutrition , substandard housing, employment discrimination, child abuse and neglect as social problems. The main objective of our independence begins with an exponential growth mindset which must be self reliant on the ideology to build a free and classless society.
Why is Rituparno Ghosh your favourite documentary film maker ?
Rituparno Ghosh was an award-winning Bengali film maker whose films about women and sexuality challenged conservative sensibilities in India. Ghosh was influenced by the works of Satyajit Ray and was an avid reader of Rabindranath Tagore. He was one of the few openly LGBT figures in Indian cinema. Rituparno’s craft was aesthetically endowed with backgrounds that deeply breathed life into the surroundings with antique pieces, curios and wrought iron furniture. His fims centered around the cognitive state of mind and the unforgettable female leads who gathered to play a powerful role to stand out in his films . His scripts were inclusive of messages to the society which highlighted the grimdark state of women , denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice. “Chokher Bali”, “Raincoat”, were few prominent “womanist” films. He was a great storyteller. This helped in connecting with his audience, keeping them engaged, relating to their emotions and to their brains, and leaving a memorable impression. He had a brilliant understanding of human behaviour and a true master of diaogue . Between Unishe April and Chitrangada, Ghosh became one of the most outstanding filmmakers in India.
What is that one quality in a woman that truly makes her independent ?
The one quality that truly liberates a woman in her own eyes and thought process is invigorating Courage in life . Courage helps us to develop a positive attitude. When you show courage towards anything that comes your way, you accomplish that particular thing and become successful. Hence, it gives you a sense of fulfillment and a sense of pride about yourself. When you keep doing daring things, you subconsciously believe that things are worth doing and that you need a little more courage.Along with this self-confidence empowers a person to fulfill his dreams and helps him or her to take necessary steps to improve his or her life. Thinking positively is also an important way to increase self-confidence. This helps to drive away negative thoughts and nurture positive feelings. Courage is an inner firmness of mindset, a strength that does not seek citations from a crowd or from an individual. It's not about his performance, but in his or her pain, in his or her loneliness, the person who stands firm on principles is truly a courageous person .One will have to instill respect in your mind, because that's what courage is. If your company and love is with those violent brave people then you become very ordinary then you need to think once again. There is unimaginable strength in courage. It takes courage to face really difficult situations and show others that you really care about them.
How do you define Creativity through the spectrum of Art ?
Creativity enables you to connect with the beauty around you. Engaging in art as well as physical activity boosts your mood. Art stimulates your brain and improves cognitive ability. Sharing the creation of art, whether it's sewing, painting, drawing, playing music, or growing beautiful flowers, breaks down barriers.Creative thinking provides the flexibility needed for the original production of ideas. This can be exeplified by analytical reasoning and by the richness of ideas and originality of thought. Both appear to be necessary for creative performance, although the degree of each varies by task or occupation . A happy creative idea is like a cool shade and a sad imagination creates burning coals. The texture of the imagery is very poignant. There are many such works of literature, in which there is a perfect harmony of imagination with ideas, and they are full of pleasant feelings. When imagination takes flight with refined intelligence, it touches the wider existence of life. “Art allows you to paint the canvas of your Life with Bright colours. These colours are such that you can fly anywhere and no one can stop you. All it takes is a little bit of imagination.” Mayaa’s philosophy encapsulates Art as the means of inner peace. This is hard penance, it is Discipline. It is through this that any artist embodies the dream ideas from the golden and rainbow soul through the three gunas are called: sattva (goodness, calmness, harmonious), rajas (passion, activity, movement), and tamas (ignorance, inertia, laziness).
