She shares “When I was young, many people have asked me to participate in the Miss India pageant. However, various circumstances prevented me from participating in these competitions and a bikini was a case in point and it was compulsory but that is no longer the case. Some Pageants do not need participation with a bikini anymore. So, when people encouraged me to take part now, I forged ahead and so here I am”

She shares that her journey has been a whirlwind but at the roots of it she always strived to be a role model for young women by leaving a lasting positive impact on her community.
