A thought was the seed of an endeavour for this corporate leader, performance facilitator, coach and a passionate traveller. The thought that we are all privileged to be born as human beings in this world and that we are born only once. And the question that he kept asking himself again and again over the years. "What is the purpose of my life? Is it to study, work, raise a family and quietly leave one day". And the answer was a resounding NO always. He wanted to do much more. He wanted to travel, experience and feel different cultures, understand traditions, meet people from different walks of life in his country and elsewhere, interact with them and get to know what drives them and keeps them going. He wished to see much more of this beautiful world.
And he wanted to write and share his experiences with those who love to travel and love to read. And wished to provide them with an experiential feel of a holiday with his distinct style of storytelling. So one night he got into action and this blog "Travels with passion" was born the next morning. And Subhashish Roy, acquired a new name 'Travelwisesr' for his readers across the world. And the dream took shape.
The blog is self hosted and completely self designed through his everyday learning in a completely new field which makes him so happy and also the fact that in its four years of existence the blog has acquired thousands of dedicated followers from around the world.
His dream did not stop there. A small town boy born in the land of Buddha - Bodh Gaya, he completed his Master of Science & MBA from one of the most premier educational institute of India, BITS Pilani. After a successful career spanning over 29 years in Middle, Senior & Top Management roles in Indian and Multinational organizations, he gave it all up one morning to pursue his dreams.
